It is a large Victorian style home, which portrays a somewhat exotic and sunny exterior.The house has 4 bedrooms with the possibility of a guest bedroom on the third floor. It also has 2 living rooms, 3 bathrooms, various storage rooms, 2 dining areas and a shed with an automatic tilt garage door. The backyard appears to have a pool, a gazebo, and a hot tub which may have been removed.
A former top-model turned trophy wife, Gaby married CEO Carlos Solis, who proposed after their third date. In 2001, Gaby gave up her lavish life in NYC to move to the suburbs of Fairview and adjust to a quieter, more settled lifestyle with Carlos. During the first three years of marriage, Carlos was always away on business trips, leaving Gaby to become bored, lonely and unhappy, resulting in her having an affair with her teenage gardener, and high-school student, John Rowland.
Carlos Solis, a religious ex-con, is the husband of high maintenance wife, Gabrielle Solis.
Xiao-Mei was the Solis family's housemaid; she soon became their surrogate mother (with an embryo that wasn't theirs) and Carlos' mistress.
Ellie Leonard is a young woman who responds to Gabrielle and Carlos' ad regarding a room for rent and immediately wins the pair over by paying upfront. She tells Gabrielle that she is an Art Student and that she is going to school trying to better herself.
uanita Solis is the biological daughter of Hector and Carmen Sanchez and the legal daughter of Carlos and Gabrielle Solis. She was named after her legal grandmother and was switched at birth with Grace Sanchez. She is her "daddy's little girl", and is often rebellious against her mother. She is the leader of her and her sister, Celia, when they make life hell for their mother.
Celia Solis is the youngest daughter of Gabrielle and Carlos Solis biological sister of Grace Sanchez and legal sister of Juanita Solis . She is often quiet, but she enjoys rebelling against her mother with her older sister Juanita.
Ana Solis is the niece of Carlos Solis, whom he takes in.
Roy Bender is Karen McCluskey's husband.
Commonly called the Greenberg House is a Blue Cottage Style house on Wisteria Lane, home of Ida Greenberg from before the series to mid season 4 when she was killed in the tornado. It is unknown if before the series, she had a husband living with her. After Ida passed away, Karen McCluskey stayed in her house until the end of season 4 while her house was being rebuilt. In season 6, the house was occupied by cranky neighbor, Mitzi Kinsky.
Ida Greenberg was a neighbor on Wisteria Lane, who was close friends with Karen McCluskey. She was also the original owner of Toby, the cat. During the tornado on Wisteria Lane, she was killed while trying to save the Scavo family. Karen McCluskey ends up taking of Toby after Ida’s death.
Karen Bender (née Simonds, previously McCluskey) was Wisteria Lane's local babysitter who loves to cause trouble, who was originally introduced as Lynette Scavo 's nemesis. She is mainly referred to as Mrs. McCluskey. As the series went on, Karen became humanized and even became a friend to the women.
Mitzi Kinsky is an annoying and selfish resident of Wisteria Lane who many residents have a disliking for.
4348 Wisteria Lane is a home for resident Rose Kemper.
Rose Kemper is an old lady who used to live on Wisteria Lane. She hit Orson Hodge over the head with a bat after he broke into her house. Orson then talked the doctors into thinking she was crazy to prevent her from causing him to be caught. It has been hinted at that she has since been taken into a nursing home or moved.
The house is a two-bedroom, one-bath home with one living room, a small kitchen, a dining room, and an entryway. Whilst in Martha's care, the home was decorated with several ceramic elephants, placed around the house on various shelves. Felicia once called the decor of the house, "where good taste comes to die". When Andrew and his partner Alex brought the house, it was more brightly decorated with much more tasteful and expensive items.
Martha Huber was the cruel, and nosy neighbor of Wisteria Lane and sister of Felicia Tilman, who started blackmailing Mary Alice. Eventually, Mary Alice's husband found out that she was the one responsible for the blackmail letter, and killed Martha in a fit of passion on December 12th, 2004, just about two weeks after his wife’s suicide.
Edie Williams (née Britt) is one of the main characters and titular protagonists of Desperate Housewives.
Felicia Tilman was Martha Huber's sister who came to Wisteria Lane to find out who murdered her. When she found out it was Paul Young, she cut off two of her fingers and framed him for her murder. However, after ten years of hiding, she was eventually found and imprisoned. When she was given humanitarian release after her daughter committed suicide, she tried to kill Paul but failed. She then fled again with her daughter's ashes, but she drove into an oncoming truck and died.
Alex Cominis was Andrew Van de Kamp's ex-husband.
Andrew Van de Kamp, Bree and Rex's son, is just as clever, stubborn, and wicked as his mother, which perhaps is why they’ve always had such a stormy relationship.
It is a lilac-purple weatherboard house with a Barn-style roof and features a hexagonal "tower-style" room.
Bob Hunter is the husband on Lee McDermott, who, after many years of living in Chicago, moved to the suburbs for the quiet life. And if the residents of Wisteria Lane ever need a lawyer, Bob is the first one they call.
Lee McDermott is the gossip-loving husband of Bob Hunter. He lived with Bob in Chicago for years until Bob decided it was about time to move to the suburbs.
Jenny Hunter-McDermott is the adopted daughter of Bob Hunter and Lee McDermott, a same-sex couple who live on Wisteria Lane.
Mr. Mullins was a taxidermist, and kept a lot of stuffed animals in his home, as revealed by Susan, who also states that he often invites people in, and then introduces them to all his “pets”. They also had a problem with teenagers spreading toilet paper across their yard, and kept a spare key to Mrs. McCluskey ’s house. They also trusted Bree by giving her a key to their home. They left Wisteria Lane because of all the action happening there: murder, suicide, blackmail, violence, and arson.

Betty Applewhite is one of the main and titular characters of Desperate Housewives. A single mother with strong religious beliefs and not to be trifled with, Betty is a former concert pianist who will do anything to protect her family.
Matthew Applewhite was the son of Betty Applewhite. As he is the true killer of Melanie Foster which makes him responsible for Season 2's main storyline, he takes the role of main antagonist for Season 2.
Caleb Applewhite is Betty's son, and brother of Matthew.

Paul Young (formerly Todd Forrest) is Mary Alice's widower. After his wife's death, his life spiraled out of control. When he discovered that Martha Huber was to blame, he decided to take justice into his own hands by strangling her. Things went from bad to worse for Paul. Soon the whole neighborhood turned against him, including his son.
Zachary "Zach" Young (formerly Dana Taylor) is the son of Deirdre Taylor and Mike Delfino and the adoptive son of Mary Alice and Paul Young.
Arthur "Art" Shepard was a resident of Wisteria Lane.
Rebecca Shepard is Art Shepard's invalid sister who lived with him on Wisteria Lane up until her untimely death due to cardiac arrest.
Michael "Mike" Delfino was one of the protagonists and titular husbands of Desperate Housewives.
Dave Williams (formerly David Dash) is a seasonal main antagonist and mystery star of Desperate Housewives. Introduced as Edie's third and last husband in season 5, Dave comes to Wisteria Lane with a vendetta plan to put into motion, with the intent of avenging his deceased former family.
Angela "Angie" Bolen (née de Luca) was one of the main and titular characters of Desperate Housewives during its sixth season. A smart, brassy and liberal Italian-American woman, Angie is willing to go to great lengths to protect her family and to fight for what she believes in. Susan Delfino (née Bremmer, previously Mayer) is one of the main characters of Desperate Housewives. Known for being a hopeless romantic and a klutz, as well as for her occasional portrayal of the "damsel in distress", is arguably the most fragile of all the housewives, and is often considered the nicest and most adorable one.
Karl Mayer was Susan's ex-husband, who left his wife and abandoned his daughter when he fell for his secretary. He married Susan in 1989, and dating her for and later fell in love with Brandi, leaving Susan in 2003, after 14 years of marriage. He is a divorce attorney with an excellent reputation, and a sex drive just as well known
Julie Alexandra Mayer is the eldest child of Susan Delfino and Karl Mayer. Growing up, Julie was the perfect child for Susan; she was often seen as the mother in their relationship as she cooked, cleaned and even gave her mother dating advice. She seemed to be a happy child to others, but secretly her childhood had damaged her significantly, causing her to lose control in later life.
Sophie Flickman (née Bremmer) is Susan's overly emotional and hopelessly romantic mother, who shares many traits with her daughter.

A cross between Martha Stewart-on-steroids and a Stepford wife, Bree's efforts to maintain her plastic existence quickly collapsed
Rex Van de Kamp was Bree's first husband and father to Andrew and Danielle. A doctor whom Bree was married to for 18 years, the couple's plastic existence soon melted away, resulting in Rex starting to pay regular visits to a neighborhood, domestic prostitute. Once the pair had put aside their differences and reconciled, rather ironically, Rex died, after being poisoned by the family's scheming pharmacist.

Gloria Hodge is the callous mother of Orson Hodge. She killed her husband Edwin, Monique Polier, and attempted to kill Bree.
Benjamin Tyson Van de Kamp (formerly Katz and Hodge) is Bree's grandson and the son of Danielle and Austin McCann. It is likely that Benjamin knows about his real father because he met his great-aunt Edie Austin's aunt.

Dylan Mayfair is a supporting character on Desperate Housewives, and the adoptive daughter of Katherine Mayfair and her second husband, Adam. Dylan moved with her family to Wisteria Lane with no recollection of having allegedly lived there before, and thus sought out to uncover her past and the reasons behind her forgetfulness.

It is unknown whether Preston was the first or second born twin. The twins are the eldest of the Scavo children nonetheless (excluding Kayla). Preston and Porter are often deemed to be rebellious children/teenagers in the series, whose main purpose is to give their mother, one of the protagonists of the show, a lot of drama.

Renee Faulkner (previously Perry) is one of the main protagonists and titular characters of Desperate Housewives. A narcissistic diva from Manhattan, Renee is a sexy and sophisticated party-girl by nature who became disenchanted with her humdrum lifestyle and decided to move to Wisteria Lane, in close proximity to her sorority sister from college, Lynette. Renee ruffles the other housewives' feathers with her aggressive behavior but eventually develops close friendships with her neighbors.

Austin McCann is a supporting character on Desperate Housewives. Introduced as Edie Britt's rebellious nephew, Austin was taken under his fun-loving aunt's wing and took a liking to Julie Mayer, who found herself falling for the 'bad boy' as well. However, Austin's inability to commit to their relationship and his affair with a neighbor, which ended badly, led him to leave Wisteria Lane for good and sever his ties with the lovable Julie.
Travers McLain is Edie Britt's son who lives with his father after Edie gave him full custody.
